College Board Radically Changes SAT Rules to Open New Educational Opportunities for Future Students
College Board Allows High School Students Everywhere to Maximize Educational Advantages by Controlling the Right to Display Their SAT Scores.
Safely increasing an SAT score has now become easier thanks to a new rule change issued by the College Board that allows students in the class of 2010 or later to submit only their best scores to colleges. This rule change will dramatically alter overall test taking strategies and assist students in enhancing their academic portfolio as well as nullify many of the concerns shared by parents and students regarding the SAT.
One aspect greatly changed by this allowance is that students must no longer take caution in the number of times they take the SAT. By allowing students to project only their best images, the SAT has also nullified its own policy regarding score cancellation. In the future, it will never be advantageous for a student to cancel a score.
Academic Opportunity
"Because of this change, we now recommend that a student start taking the SAT Reasoning Test as early as the 10th grade and the SAT Subject Tests as early as the 9th grade," said TestMasters SAT Director Roger Israni. "The earlier a student begins to study and take the test, the more they will benefit from numerous opportunities to gain a higher score."
Since TestMasters courses come with a 300 point score increase guarantee, some students and parents have had the very reasonable concern that the colleges might find such a large increase in the score of a student unusual. This rule change eliminates such concerns.
