Jersey Village Student Achieves Perfect 2400 on the SAT Exam
Student had prepared for the test by taking a Test Masters SAT Course
HOUSTON, TX, November 22, 2008 - Cybil Zhang, a Jersey Village High School student, scored a perfect score of 2400 on the October 2008 SAT Exam. The SAT is the gateway exam for college admissions in the United States. A high score on the test can make an applicant very competitive to the nations best colleges. College Board sources indicate that less than 0.02% of those that take the SAT achieve a perfect score. Cybil prepared for the SAT exam by taking a prep course with Test Masters (www.testmasters.com).

Advice for Others
When asked if she had any advice for other students that are planning to take the SAT, Zhang suggested that her peers maintain focus on their shortcomings and eliminate them through hard work. "You must know how to take the test," said Zhang. Focus on your weaknesses before test day so they do not affect you during the test. It never pays to ignore them."
Zhang also offered unique advice for the multiple choice portion of the writing section. "Don't underestimate the value of knowing your grammar. The parts of speech are important."
Looking Toward the Future
Cybil is currently interested in attending school on the east coast so she can enjoy the cultural and educational opportunities provided by fine institutions in cities such as New York. She is interested in pursuing a degree in either math or business and is considering a career in actuarial finance.
