Should I Take Math Level 1 Or Level 2?

The most important factor in deciding between the two exams is college requirements. Some colleges will require that students take the Math II exam; others will not specify. Students who have not taken pre-calculus/trigonometry should take the Math Level 1 Subject Test. While there is some overlap between the two tests, the emphasis on the Level 2 exam is on advanced content that is not covered in algebra and geometry.
