Testmasters student uses testing strategies to secure perfect score on November SAT
Nikhil Garg earns a 2400 on November SAT
HOUSTON, TX, February 23, 2010- Houston-area Test Masters student Nikhil Garg placed himself in a distinguished category by locking in a perfect SAT score of 2400. Garg, a junior at Katy Taylor High School, became the latest Test Masters student to accomplish the feat.
Garg credited his prep course as one of the many factors that helped him achieve his test day success. “Practicing helped me get to know the test and the different types of questions, and aided me in developing a steady pace to get through the test.”

Advice for Others
When asked if he had any advice for other students that are planning to take the SAT, Garg recommended plenty of practice and personal familiarization with the test. “Start studying a couple vocabulary words a day, as that is probably one of the few things on the exam not learned explicitly in school,” said Garg. “Besides that, familiarize yourself with what you will be tested on and then review what you have to.”
Looking Toward the Future
Garg is currently undecided in his choice of schools, but knows that he would like to study something in the field of math or science. Garg is specifically interested in engineering and would like to additionally major in political science and philosophy. For his extraordinary efforts on the SAT, Test Masters will award him with a $1000 scholarship.
