Carrie Meng Captures First Referral Championship Award!

HOUSTON, TX (September 27, 2018) Carrie Meng, a senior at Bellaire High School, has earned enough referral credits to capture the title of TestMasters Referral Champion. Carrie, who completed the TestMasters SAT course in the winter of 2016, was able to earn the requisite number of referral credits in just about a year and a half.

Carrie’s strategy of disseminating her coupon code online was consistent with what has become an increasingly common and effective referral tactic, in which students focus on posting their codes on online coupon sharing sites, and couple that effort with word of mouth referrals.

“Since I took TestMasters earlier than most people, I gave my coupon code to my friends and classmates. I also posted my code online on retailmenot where I had the most success. I didn’t put that much time into giving out my code because I knew it was much easier to do online.”

The TestMasters Referral Program is easy to use and to understand. Former students can refer new students to TestMasters, and earn a $25 referral credit for every new student referred to TestMasters. For every 20 students referred to TestMasters, participants in the referral program earn the title of TestMasters Referral Champion, and a $1000 Referral Scholarship. New students referred to TestMasters earn a $25 discount to the cost of their course.

On her future plans, Carries says, “I plan on studying a biology-related major as I want to do premed. My long term goals would consist of me going to medical school after undergrad and eventually becoming some kind of doctor, but I’m not exactly sure what specifically.” She is hoping that this and future participation in the referral program will help mitigate the cost of college, as she will “be saving the money for college tuition.”
