HOUSTON, TX (June 27, 2019) Francis King, an incoming senior to Klein Cain High School, has joined the elite group of 1% of students to earn a perfect score on the ACT. King, who completed the TestMasters ACT course during his junior year, credits TestMasters for giving him the extra boost he needed to get to that perfect score.

“The study materials available at TestMasters were very good and accurately depicted the kinds of questions that I would see on the actual ACT. The quality of the teachers was also great.”

Not only did King find the coursework helpful but he had fun too. He added that his favorite part about TestMasters was the candy. “It was a really nice touch because it gave me the incentive I needed.”

King was born in New York but has spent most of his childhood in Texas. He enjoys a variety of extracurricular activities but has recently zoned in on the Academic Decathlon and Quiz Bowl which is a club he and his fellow classmates created. When he’s hanging out at home he spends time playing video games, watching TV, and going for runs. His plans for college aren’t set in stone but he is considering the engineering path.

His final piece of advice for future students is “Practice answering all the questions with time management in mind. The sheer number of questions is the biggest obstacle for a lot of people, including myself.”

In recognition of his achievement, TestMasters will award King a $1000 Perfect Score Scholarship.
