We put our guarantees in writing, by exam, because a promise you cannot read is not a promise. Every guarantee below has the same shape: do the work we assign, and if the score does not move by the stated amount, you do not pay again to fix it.

Digital SAT and PSAT: 200 points

Attend every class, complete every assigned homework, and your SAT or PSAT score* rises by at least 200 points. If it does not, we provide additional instruction at no charge; see your student agreement for the specific details. Fewer than one in a hundred students who finish the course ever needs to ask, which is the number we are proudest of.

ACT: 4 points

Attend every class, do the assigned work, and your composite rises by at least 4 points. If it does not, the additional instruction that follows is free; the student agreement sets out the details. On a 36-point scale, four points is the difference between a good application and a scholarship conversation.

GMAT: 100 points

Come to every class, finish every homework assignment, and your score improves by at least 100 points. If it does not, the next GMAT course we run is yours at no charge.

GRE: 10 points

Same terms: full attendance, all homework completed, and a minimum 10-point gain, or you repeat the next available GRE course free.

FE-CBT and PE: guarantee of passing

For our engineering licensure courses the guarantee is not a number of points but the result itself. Attend every class, watch all required videos, and if you do not pass you may repeat the next review course and workshops at no cost. The qualifying conditions differ by course:

PE course. Attend every class and, if you do not pass, repeat the next course free. The examination must be taken within nine months of completing the course. No passing guarantee applies to the Chemical and Environmental Engineering PE courses.
Hybrid FE course. Attend every class, watch the required videos, and repeat free if you do not pass. You must sit the FE within 90 days of the course start date.
Combined hybrid and online FE course. Same conditions, with the examination taken within 150 days of the course start date.
Online FE course. Watch the required videos and repeat the course free if you do not pass, provided you sit the examination within 120 days of the course start date.

Terms that apply to every engineering repeat: the free repeat must be used for the next course offered after your examination results arrive, and any further repeat within 18 months is charged at half the regular fee. No course is guaranteed to run at the same location, or on every examination cycle. Your score sheet from the PE Board or NCEES must be submitted to claim the repeat; without it a $200 charge applies. Requests must reach us within 30 days of your receiving the result, after which they cannot be considered. The free repeat carries no cash value, cannot be transferred to anyone else, and may be used once.

The online FE course may be repeated at no charge for 60 days, and unless the exam itself changes, no new material is issued for the repeat. A student repeating the online course may add the hybrid course for $499.50, half the course fee, and a student repeating the hybrid course may add the online course on the same terms, waived if no hybrid course is running at the previous location. Those repeating the combined hybrid and online course may repeat for 90 days at no charge. No free repeat is available where the full fee was not paid.
