Kettering University's co-op graduates leave Flint with real industry experience, and many take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam before or soon after graduation. The FE is a computer-based NCEES exam offered by discipline, including civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, and other, and passing it earns the Engineer in Training designation, the first step to a PE license. Test Masters prepares Flint-area engineers live online, with instructors who hold PE licenses themselves, a methodical review of the NCEES reference handbook, and timed problem sets that build speed. The course suits UM-Flint engineering graduates and working engineers at GM and its suppliers as well. A score increase guarantee backs each course, and private 1-on-1 tutoring fits co-op schedules. Pass the FE, and you have mastered the first exam on the road to licensure.
