Waterbury families have independent schools close at hand, including Chase Collegiate School in Waterbury, and applicants for fifth or sixth grade at independent schools may take the ISEE Lower Level. For a nine- or ten-year-old, the format is new: verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading, math achievement, and a short essay. Test Masters teaches the Lower Level live online to students from Waterbury, Middlebury, Cheshire, and Watertown in short, encouraging lessons, with vocabulary in small doses and math explained clearly. Private 1-on-1 tutoring is available, and parents receive a progress report after each practice test. With steady practice, your child can take the ISEE as its master.
