Families in Hockessin, Pike Creek, and Newark sometimes start the independent school search early, applying for fifth or sixth grade, and the ISEE Lower Level is the test for those young applicants. For a fourth or fifth grader, it is often the first timed, multiple-choice exam of their lives. Test Masters prepares Newark-area children live online with short, encouraging lessons on verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, mathematics achievement, and the essay, which schools read closely. We focus on building confidence, teaching children how to eliminate wrong answers, and practicing at the pace the test expects. Private 1-on-1 tutoring suits younger students well. A fifth grader who prepares with us walks in ready to be the master of the test.
