Some Topeka families apply to independent schools for fifth or sixth grade, in Topeka or the Kansas City area, and the ISEE Lower Level is often required. For a fourth or fifth grader, a timed admission test is new territory. Test Masters keeps preparation encouraging, with short live online lessons in vocabulary, sentence completion, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, and math achievement, plus practice for the writing sample. We teach children to read each question carefully and manage their time. Private 1-on-1 tutoring works well at this age, and parents see progress reports. Your child can walk in as the master of the test.
