Baton Rouge families applying to independent schools such as Episcopal or the Dunham School for fifth or sixth grade may need the ISEE Lower Level. For a fourth or fifth grader, a timed admission test is a new experience. Test Masters keeps preparation patient and encouraging, with short live online lessons in vocabulary, sentence completion, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, and math achievement, plus practice for the writing sample. We teach children to read carefully, pace themselves, and keep going after a hard question. Private 1-on-1 tutoring works well at this age. With practice, your child becomes the master of the test.
