Families in the Lawrence area who are considering an independent school for grade 5 or 6, at schools such as the Pike School in Andover or others across the North Shore and Merrimack Valley, will meet the ISEE Lower Level. Most applicants are fourth and fifth graders taking their first formal standardized test. Test Masters teaches the Lower Level live online in short, encouraging lessons: vocabulary and sentence completion, early quantitative reasoning, reading passages at the right level, math achievement, and the essay schools read alongside the scores. Practice tests build stamina and confidence. Private 1-on-1 tutoring is a popular choice at this age. With steady practice, a young student becomes the master of the test.
