North Shore families considering an independent school for grade 5 or 6, at schools such as the Tower School in Marblehead or Shore Country Day in Beverly, will meet the ISEE Lower Level. Most applicants are fourth and fifth graders taking their first formal standardized test. Test Masters teaches the Lower Level live online in short, encouraging lessons covering vocabulary and sentence completion, early quantitative reasoning, reading passages at the right level, math achievement, and the essay schools read with the scores. Practice tests help young students build stamina and stay calm. Private 1-on-1 tutoring is a popular choice at this age. With the right preparation, a young student becomes the master of the test.
