Somerville and Cambridge are home to independent schools, such as Shady Hill School and Buckingham Browne and Nichols in Cambridge, that may ask young applicants for an ISEE score. The Lower Level is for fourth and fifth graders applying to grades 5 and 6, and for many children it is the first timed test they have ever taken. Test Masters makes it approachable, live online, with short lessons on vocabulary, quantitative reasoning, reading, math, and the essay, plus kid-friendly test-taking habits like pacing and educated guessing. Parents get clear feedback after every practice test, and private tutoring is available. With patient preparation, your child becomes the master of this test.
