Asheville has a strong independent school community, including Carolina Day School, and families applying for grade 5 or 6 often find the ISEE Lower Level is part of the process. For a fourth or fifth grader, it is usually the first timed test that really counts. Test Masters prepares younger students from Asheville, Weaverville, and Fletcher live online with patient, age-appropriate lessons in verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, math achievement, and the essay. Practice begins with short timed sections and builds toward a full-length test, so children learn pacing without feeling overwhelmed. Private 1-on-1 tutoring is a good fit for young students who do well with individual attention. With the right preparation, a ten-year-old can be the master of the test.
