Philadelphia has one of the country's richest traditions of independent schools, including Friends schools such as Germantown Friends and Penn Charter, and families applying for fifth or sixth grade often meet the ISEE Lower Level. The children who take it are in fourth or fifth grade, and the test asks them to handle verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading, math, and an essay under time limits. Test Masters prepares these young students live online in short, encouraging sessions that build vocabulary, word problem skills, and calm test habits. Parents see progress after each practice test, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available. With steady preparation, a ten-year-old can become the master of this test.
