Pittsburgh families applying to independent schools such as Shady Side Academy, Winchester Thurston, The Ellis School, and Sewickley Academy for fifth or sixth grade may encounter the ISEE Lower Level. The students taking it are usually fourth or fifth graders, and for most it is the first timed test that really matters. Test Masters prepares these young students live online in short, encouraging sessions on vocabulary, reading comprehension, word problems, and math fundamentals, plus practice with the essay. We keep the tone positive, because confidence counts at this age. Parents receive progress reports, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available. With patient preparation, your child can walk in ready to master the test.
