When a Berks County family applies to an independent school for fifth or sixth grade, the ISEE Lower Level is often part of admission. The children taking it are in fourth or fifth grade, and the test asks them to manage verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, mathematics achievement, and an essay within strict time limits. Test Masters prepares these young students from Reading, Wyomissing, and Exeter live online in short, friendly sessions that build vocabulary, reading habits, and word problem skills. We keep each session encouraging, since a nervous ten-year-old rarely shows what she knows. Parents receive progress reports, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available. With patient preparation, a young student can master this test.
