Some McKinney parents start the private school search early, and fourth and fifth graders applying for grades 5 and 6 at independent schools in Collin County and Dallas take the ISEE Lower Level. For a ten-year-old, a timed standardized test can be a brand new experience. Test Masters prepares younger students live online with short, encouraging lessons on verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, mathematics achievement, and the essay, which schools read closely. Practice tests are scored so families can see progress week by week. Private 1-on-1 tutoring is a good fit for this age, with sessions short enough to hold a young student's attention. With steady practice, your child becomes the master of the ISEE, one small step at a time.
