Tacoma has strong independent schools, including Annie Wright Schools and Charles Wright Academy, and families applying for fifth or sixth grade at independent schools often meet the ISEE Lower Level. For a fourth or fifth grader, it is a long, timed test: verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, mathematics achievement, and an unscored essay the school reads. Test Masters prepares Lower Level students live online in short, encouraging sessions that build vocabulary and word problem skills, plus the stamina to finish calmly. Parents get a clear report after every practice test, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available. With patient practice, your child becomes the master of the ISEE.
