Some Charleston families look at independent day and boarding schools beyond the Kanawha Valley, and children applying for fifth or sixth grade at those schools often take the ISEE Lower Level. For a fourth or fifth grader, it is a long, timed test: verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, mathematics achievement, and a short unscored essay the school reads. Test Masters prepares Lower Level students live online in short sessions that build vocabulary, careful reading, and confidence with word problems, so living far from a large city is no disadvantage. Parents get a clear report after each practice test, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available. With patient practice, your child becomes the master of the ISEE.
