Lakewood students applying to independent high schools, whether for ninth grade or a later transfer, take the ISEE Upper Level, which expects reading at a high school level and math through algebra and geometry. Competitive Denver-area schools see strong applicants, so preparation matters. Test Masters teaches the Upper Level live online to students from Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Morrison, and Englewood, with detailed work on quantitative comparisons, advanced vocabulary in synonym and sentence-completion questions, dense reading passages, and a well-organized essay. Private 1-on-1 tutoring is available for students balancing sports and coursework, and every practice test comes with a clear report. By test day, the ISEE Upper Level is a test your student has mastered.
