Boise students applying to an independent or boarding high school for grade 9 or later usually sit for the ISEE Upper Level, the most demanding of the three levels. The math covers algebra, geometry, and data, the vocabulary is advanced, and the reading passages approach SAT difficulty, followed by a timed essay. Test Masters prepares eighth graders and high school students live online, with instructors who teach how to handle quantitative comparisons efficiently, eliminate wrong answers with confidence, and plan a clear essay in minutes. Full-length practice tests build the stamina a long morning requires, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available. The work also gives students a head start on Idaho's school-day SAT. Master the Upper Level, and the SAT will feel familiar.
