For Elgin students applying to independent high schools for grade 9 and up, the ISEE Upper Level is the test that admission readers rely on, and it is scored against other strong applicants. Test Masters prepares eighth graders and older students live online for the Upper Level's advanced vocabulary, demanding reading, algebra and geometry, and the essay. Because many independent schools offer financial aid, a strong score can make an option realistic for an Elgin family. Instructors teach time management for long sections and smart guessing, since the ISEE does not penalize wrong answers. Private 1-on-1 tutoring is available. Make the ISEE a test you have mastered.
