For Ames students applying to an independent or boarding high school for grade 9 or later, the ISEE Upper Level is a demanding test. Its math covers algebra, geometry, and data, its vocabulary is advanced, and its reading passages approach the level of the SAT, followed by a timed essay. Test Masters prepares eighth graders and high school students live online, with instructors who teach how to handle quantitative comparisons efficiently, eliminate wrong answers with confidence, and plan a clear essay in minutes. Students in a university town often have strong math, so the plan targets the sections with the most room to grow. Full-length practice tests build stamina, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available. Master the Upper Level, and the SAT will feel familiar.
