Sioux City students applying to an independent or boarding high school for grade 9 or later will usually take the ISEE Upper Level, the most demanding of the three levels. The math reaches into algebra, geometry, and data analysis, the vocabulary is advanced, and the reading passages approach SAT difficulty, followed by a timed essay. Test Masters prepares eighth graders and high school students live online, with instructors who teach efficient handling of quantitative comparisons, confident elimination of wrong answers, and a quick plan for the essay. Full-length practice tests build stamina, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available. The same skills give students a head start on the ACT they will likely take later. Master the Upper Level, and the next test will feel familiar.
