Applying to a private or independent high school from Jersey City means competing against strong students from all over the region, and the ISEE Upper Level is often a deciding factor for ninth grade and beyond. The Upper Level covers algebra, geometry, and data in quantitative reasoning and mathematics achievement, plus demanding reading passages and a vocabulary-heavy verbal section. Test Masters has taught live online ISEE Upper Level classes attended by eighth graders from Downtown, the Heights, Hoboken, and Bayonne, with full-length timed practice and essay review. Private 1-on-1 tutoring is available for students applying to several schools at once. The difference between an average and an outstanding score is usually pacing. Master the ISEE now, and the high school decision becomes yours to make.
