Wilmington has a strong tradition of Catholic high schools, including Salesianum School, Ursuline Academy, Padua Academy, Saint Elizabeth High School, and Archmere Academy in nearby Claymont, and many eighth graders take the HSPT as part of applying. The test is long and covers verbal skills, quantitative skills, reading, mathematics, and language. Test Masters prepares Wilmington students for the HSPT live online, teaching analogies and verbal logic, number series and comparisons, and grammar without a reference sheet. Students take full practice tests under real timing so the pace is familiar. Parents receive clear feedback after every practice test, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available. Your eighth grader can sit down as the master of the HSPT.
