Catholic high school options in northern Maine are limited, so Orono and Bangor families considering one, whether St. Dominic Academy in Auburn, Cheverus in Portland, or a Catholic boarding school elsewhere, may need the HSPT, the admission test many Catholic high schools give eighth graders. Test Masters prepares students live online for all five sections: verbal skills, quantitative skills, reading, mathematics, and language. Students practice under real timing, learn to pace a long test, and stop giving away points to rushed mistakes. Parents get a clear report after each practice test, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available. Distance is no obstacle when your eighth grader becomes the master of the HSPT.
