Portland families considering Cheverus High School, the Jesuit high school on Ocean Avenue, or other Catholic high schools may find an entrance test is part of the application, and the HSPT is the one many Catholic high schools use for eighth graders. Test Masters prepares students from Portland, South Portland, Westbrook, and Falmouth live online for all five sections: verbal skills, quantitative skills, reading, mathematics, and language. Students learn to keep a steady pace through a long test, practice under real timing, and stop losing points to careless mistakes. Parents get a clear report after each practice test. Private tutoring is available. Your eighth grader can finish the HSPT as its master.
