St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, right next door to Edison, is one of the Catholic high schools Middlesex County eighth graders consider, and Catholic schools in the region often use the HSPT or a similar entrance exam for admission. The HSPT covers verbal skills, quantitative skills, reading, mathematics, and language, and its many short questions reward steady pacing more than speed. Test Masters prepares eighth graders from Edison, Metuchen, and Piscataway live online, with full-length practice tests under real timing and a clear report for parents after each one. Private 1-on-1 tutoring is available too. With the right preparation, your eighth grader can master the HSPT.
