Essex County has a long tradition of Catholic education, with schools such as St. Benedict's Prep in Newark, Seton Hall Prep in West Orange, and Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair drawing students from across the area. Many Catholic high schools use the HSPT as part of admission, and eighth graders take it once. Test Masters prepares Newark-area eighth graders live online for verbal skills, quantitative skills, reading, mathematics, and language, with full practice tests under real timing and careful review of every missed question. Families from Newark, Bloomfield, Belleville, and the Oranges have enrolled, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available. Parents get a clear report after each practice exam. On test day, your eighth grader will be the master of the HSPT.
