Catholic high schools commonly use the HSPT for admission, and Chapel Hill and Hillsborough families who want a Catholic high school education often look to schools in the Triangle, including Cardinal Gibbons in Raleigh. Eighth graders take the HSPT once, usually in the winter. Test Masters prepares eighth graders from Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Durham for the HSPT live online, covering the verbal, quantitative, reading, mathematics, and language sections, with full-length practice tests under real timing so students learn to pace themselves. Parents receive a clear report after each practice test. Private 1-on-1 tutoring is available for students who need extra help in one section. With steady preparation, your eighth grader is the master of this test.
