Brownsville has a long Catholic school tradition, including St. Joseph Academy, and Valley families who consider a Catholic high school often meet the HSPT, the admission test many Catholic high schools give eighth graders. It covers verbal skills, quantitative skills, reading, mathematics, and language, all under tight timing. Test Masters teaches the HSPT live online, with lessons on analogies, number series, grammar, and reading, and full-length practice tests under real conditions. Bilingual students get extra work on vocabulary and usage, where small gains add up quickly. Parents see clear progress after every practice test, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available. By test day, your eighth grader will be the master of the HSPT.
