Portsmouth families considering a Catholic high school often look through the tunnels to Catholic High School in Virginia Beach or up the Peninsula to Peninsula Catholic in Newport News. The HSPT is the admission test Catholic high schools use, and eighth graders generally get one attempt, so preparation matters. Test Masters prepares Portsmouth students for the HSPT live online, covering verbal skills, quantitative skills, reading, mathematics, and language, with timed practice tests that teach an eighth grader how to keep pace through nearly 300 questions. Parents receive clear feedback after each practice test, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available for a student who needs extra help in one section. Your eighth grader can walk out of the HSPT knowing exactly who mastered whom.
