Applying to an independent high school from Newark or the surrounding suburbs means competing for a limited number of ninth grade seats, and the ISEE Upper Level is often part of the application. The Upper Level tests algebra, geometry, and data interpretation, a demanding verbal section, and long reading passages, plus an essay that schools read closely. Test Masters has taught live online ISEE Upper Level classes attended by eighth graders from Newark, South Orange, Maplewood, Livingston, and Bloomfield. Full-length timed tests show exactly where to focus, and private 1-on-1 tutoring is available for students applying to several schools. A strong score helps an application stand out. Prepare well, and your eighth grader will be the master of the ISEE Upper Level.
