High school admissions at independent schools in Dallas and Collin County are competitive, and McKinney eighth graders and older students applying for grade 9 and up take the ISEE Upper Level. The test expects solid algebra, careful reading of demanding passages, and a polished essay written under time pressure. Test Masters teaches the Upper Level live online, with quantitative reasoning and mathematics achievement drills, verbal reasoning strategies, and full-length practice tests that build endurance. Private 1-on-1 tutoring helps students who are also handling a heavy course load at their current school. Families get a detailed report after each practice test. By the time admissions decisions arrive, your student will have mastered the ISEE.
