HOUSTON, TX (April 8, 2016) Nicholas Tong, a senior at Elkins High School and budding entrepreneur, has become TestMasters’ newest Referral Champion, earning approximately $3000, with $2000 of that sum including Referral Champion Bonuses. Tong attained all these bonuses only months after dedicating himself to the challenge. “Although I’ve technically been a referral program participant for two years, I really just started a few months ago.” According to him, actually achieving the status of Referral Champion was pretty easy.
“All I did was post my code online and ask my friends to maintain it for me. I only spend about ten minutes every two weeks or so on it.”
TestMasters’ Referral Program has become a popular option in which former students are incentivized to tell their friends and family about the great experience they had at TestMasters. When they register for a course, students receive a unique Student ID that may also be used as a coupon code. After completing their course, former students can refer new students to TestMasters. Using a previous student’s coupon code, new students receive a $25 discount to the cost of their course and the referring student earns a $25 referral bonus. For every 20 students referred to TestMasters, participants earn a $1000 Referral Champion Bonus.
Impressively, Tong referred over 50 students to TestMasters between August 2015 and January 2016.
Tong has been accepted to both Texas A&M and the University of Texas Austin. While he has not yet made a decision on which college he will attend, he does plan on pursuing a major in Biomedical engineering and a minor in Business. His plans for his $2000 bonus earnings are reflective of his interest in commerce; he says, “I plan to use half of the money for my business investments and save the other half for college.”
