Need to Miss a Class? Make-Ups Are Easy and Flexible!

If you miss a class topic, you have two options to make it up:

  1. Attend any other live course (in-person or Zoom) for the missed topic
  2. Watch an on-demand HD video for the missed topic

How Make-Ups Work:

  • Class topics are independent and can be completed in any order. Missing an earlier class won’t affect your progress.
  • You must complete all make-ups within 30 days after your course ends. Need more time? Call our office to request a one-time 30-day extension (subject to management approval).
  • Schedule live make-ups by logging into your account at www.testmasters.com and clicking on the Make-Up Center. See the link below for step-by-step directions to do so.

Guide to Scheduling Live Make-Ups Via Your Online Account

Tips and Guidelines:

  • Make-ups cannot be scheduled before your course begins, except for Day 1 – which is usually the same SAT Exam 1 for all courses.
  • The earlier you schedule, the more options you’ll have. New make-up dates are added every couple of weeks or so as new courses start.
  • You do not need to call us and let us know you will be missing a class. You can easily schedule a make-up for a class after you have missed it.
  • If no current make-up options work for you, you can request an on-demand HD video for the missed topic (viewable for 14 days, unlimited times). Need more time? Call our office to request a one-time 14-day extension (subject to management approval).

If you miss the first day (Exam 1), you can:

  1. Attend the first day of any other course (must schedule beforehand through our office)
  2. Take the test privately at our main office during select office hours. Arrive at 10:30 am Monday thru Saturday OR 3:30 pm Monday thru Friday. The test is 3 hours long. You do not need to call beforehand.
  3. Do the test at home. Students can either pick up a hard copy of the test or request a proctoring video loaded into their account. In the case of the latter, the test is attached underneath and must be done on-screen.
  4. Substitute a previous official test score

Make-Up Limits:

  • You receive four free make-ups per course. Additional make-ups are $39 each.
    • Holidays, emergencies, and illnesses do not count toward your free make-up limit.
    • If you joined your course late, missed classes prior to when you joined do not count towards the make-up limit.
    • Students must sign up online before attending a make-up without exception.
  • If you attend only part of a class, you can request a video make-up for the missed portion which will count as a make-up. However, if you attended any part of a live class, you may only make up the missed part by video—not by attending another live class for that particular topic.
  • Students that sign up for a make-up and then subsequently miss it, can request for a one-time exception to redo the make-up if available (subject to management approval).
  • All make-ups must be completed prior to the actual exam date to maintain our guarantee for score improvement.
